Acupuncture in the media

I’ve been extremely busy in clinic the past several weeks, but in my few spare moments I’ve been coming across several articles about acupuncture in the news.  The Huffington Post published an article this week discussing a new study of acupuncture for dry mouth in cancer patients receiving radiation therapy.  And MSN posted this health article explaining what acupuncture treats, how it works, what to look for in finding an acupuncturist, and some other answers to commonly asked questions.  All this media coverage is wonderful for those of us who practice and receive acupuncture.  As better quality research studies are published, and as more people seek acupuncture for pain, mood, digestion, and other health issues, acupuncture is becoming more accessible as a viable treatment for more Americans.

If you live in Portland and are curious about what acupuncture can do for you, call me at All and One Acupuncture, (503) 281-6909 for a free consultation to see the clinic, meet me, and learn more about acupuncture.
